We tried to program a 2D multisegment asphere with forbes (Qbfs) polynomials. Is it correct that only the first segment can be a Forbes polynomial?

It is true.  Forbes only works for the first segment.  We have never heard of anyone wanting to use Forbes for multi-segments.  We are not sure if it makes sense to implement this because Forbes needs a normalizing aperture.

We have a customer that defines a multi-segment part with different Forbes Qbfs. For each segment the customer defines a different normalization radius. The surface segments blend nicely with that.

That's nice to know. We will consider adding this option in the future release.
